Making this for him matters

Now more than ever we desire simplicity, connection and something more sustainable.

We are in search of stories that connect us to the 'things' in our lives. Our possessions are a reflection of our identities. They embody our past, present and maybe our future.

Men's sewing pattern and fabric designer Jane Harbison

Hi, I'm Jane Harbison

I often struggle to find thoughtful gifts for the special men in my life, big and small, so I set about finding a solution.

My mother taught me to sew from a young age and I know how special it is to give and receive something that someone has put time and care and skill into making.

Although I have been sewing for a long time, I certainly appreciate good clear instructions to make the process enjoyable and not frustrating! I have spent a lot of time getting this right for you so you can have fun making it.

One of the tricky things in sewing is knowing which machine needle and thread to use with your fabric type, so I created this handy reference guide for you.

Click the link below and I will email it to you.

Jane Harbison Testimonial 5 Stars Sewing Pattern and Fabric for men by Sue O'Reilly

Having contemplated and procrastinated sitting at my sewing machine after many years the option to join Jane and creative others was a godsend.

From the very beginning the communication, encouragement, task layout, delivery and enthusiasm was brilliant. Despite not finishing the project in the time allocated I am enjoying revisiting when time permits.

I can access all video tutorials, group communications, and find the detailed instructions extremely helpful. This has changed the way I will access patterns and continue my sewing journey.

The level of detail and consideration into Jane producing this pattern is a credit to her creativity and ties in beautifully with her stunning fabric design and production.

I am looking forward to following her journey.
