I am worried this wonât fit him?
- I understand. This is why every pattern comes with Finished Garment measurements which are based upon our Standardised Body Measurements found in the Size Chart on every product page. The difference between the Body and the Finished Garment measurements are designed with comfort in mind, so you have room to move.
- In addition, each Pattern Range (Boy, Youth, Men and Men Plus) contains 4 sizes, providing flexibility for modification where needed.Â
- If you are still unsure which size you should buy send an email and I will get back to you with a recommendation.
-
What fabric should I make this pattern out of?
- The Menâs Lounge Pant works well with medium weight fabrics for durability and shape. Use a medium weight cotton, linen or linen/cotton blend fabric. These fabrics are ideal for breathability especially for warmer months.
- For the cooler months Fleece or a modern Wool blend works nicely.
- If you are making a luxurious pyjama pant then silk or satin works for this pattern. If you are not sure which thread and needle type/size to use with silk or satin, use this Reference Guide.
- Matching the fabric design at the seams makes for a more professional finish, so consider this when purchasing fabric meterage if you are using a patterned fabric. A plain colour fabric makes for easier sewing. Wash your fabric before cutting out your pattern pieces. Some natural fabrics will shrink 3-5%.

I donât want to spend weeks making this garment. How long should it take me?
For those that need a little help staying focused, in your Hub you will find a Daily Sewing Schedule PDF to get your pattern made in 5 days (or less). It follows the steps outlined in your instructions so you can track your progress and stay on schedule. Ideal if you have a special occasion in mind.

I have already bought a pattern from you before. Will this pattern appear in my hub alongside my other purchases?
Yes. Your hub will automatically update with any new patterns you purchase. This way all your patterns are in one place. From time to time improvements are made to pattern instructions, formats or layout. If this occurs I will email you and make a note in the hub of the last update.
