What equipment do I need to print these stickers?
You can print these stickers at home, whether or not you have a Cricut or cutting machine.
If using a Cricut or Silhouette machine:
- A home printer (inkjet or laser, depending on your sticker paper)
- Sticker paper (compatible with your printer)
- Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio (free software)
- A Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine
- A cutting mat (LightGrip or equivalent)
- Optional: A weeding tool or spatula for lifting stickers cleanly
If you don't have a cutting machine:
- A home printer (inkjet or laser)
- Sticker paper (compatible with your printer)
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Free image viewing software (e.g. Preview on Mac or Microsoft Photos on PC) to open and print the .PNG files
You don’t need any special software, just make sure your printer settings are set to “actual size” and that you’re printing on the correct paper type.

I’m really excited to make this, but I want to make it special. My husband had a winter robe I bought him 30 years ago and while it is threadbare in parts he won’t part with it, so this summer robe needs to be the right fabric weight and colour. Still in the planning. Winter here in Australia so I have a little time for selection

The shorts turned out really well, the pattern was well presented and very easy to make with the aid of Jane's excellent step by step video tutorials. I had the lovely opportunity to join into the Valentine's day sewalong this weekend. It was my first sewalong and I really enjoyed the experience. I've been sewing on and off for 25 years or so. Sewing is a solo hobby for me and joining a sew-along makes it more communal.
